Animal Factory

This morning I found myself employed as biological mechanic. The company that employed me had contracts to repair animals using parts of other animals and create custom animals to sell for a select market.

I was in the process of moving an unconscious crocodile I had been using for parts when it began making sluggish movements. I walked incredulously beside it reflecting on what I had already removed. There were visible absences of sections of its torso, and I was certain that I had also removed its brain.

I became worried that I had been mistakenly removing parts from an animal that belonged to one of our clients. I ushered the crocodile into a pen in the factory and ran through the entire complex frantically asking if anyone knew who owned the undead croc.
